For economically successful viniculture, it is very important to stick to exact rows when planting vines. An end post is set at the end of each row of vines, which serves tense the wires of the whole row of vertical line stakes and thus stabilizes these.
The specific purpose of the end posts results in a specific design. They differ from vertical line stakes regarding material thickness and length, as they need improved stability and need to be driven deeper into the ground. This is why end posts should be at least 200 mm longer than line stakes.
