The Genap corrugated-panel silo is a Kiwa-certified silo made of galvanized corrugated panels with a Plastisol coating. The silo is easy to construct and is available in diameters up to 32 metres and volumes up to 2,500m3. The silo can be erected without the use of a crane. Manpower alone is sufficient to bolt the corrugated panels together and to erect the silo.
Depending on the use, various types of membrane can be used as liner for the silo. Genap also offers solutions for covering slurry silos in order to minimize odour emissions.
The tank consists of hot-dip galvanised, polyurethane-coated corrugated steel panels.
It is easy to build and is supplied up to a diameter of 32 metres and a capacity of up to 2500m3.
The tank is ideal for installation on surfaces with low load-bearing capacities; concrete base is not always necessary. Depending on the volume, the wall is usually built 0.8 or 1.6 metres below ground level on a simple ring foundation of concrete slabs or tiles.
This tank meets the European construction guidelines for slurry storage and is provided
with a system certificate (49851) from the Dutch certification authority KIWA (49851).
Tank liner
This slurry store liner consists of a 1 mm thick Fecatex® PVC film for the bottom and Genatex® 850, reinforced PVC film, for the walls. These types of film are specifically designed for contact with slurry and organic liquids.
The tank liner has an overlap of Genatex® and is fitted with stainless steel rings. The tank liner is secured to the tank with a dralon cord. Use of this liner guarantees a slurry-resistant system and prevents contamination of groundwater
