The Genap Lagoon Mixer is specially designed for use in slurry lagoons under a floating cover. A conical shaped pipe behind the fan increases the thrust deep into the lagoon. Adjustment of this inlet and outlet can help change the direction of flow by about 30 degrees. The mixer comes standard with a power take-off (PTO) drive. The drive can optionally be expanded with an electric motor if the lagoon has a high-capacity electricity connection. The stainless steel frame structure prevents the floating cover from being pulled into the mixer. The mixer can be installed in both new and existing lagoons on standard concrete slabs. The lagoon mixer is available in standard frame lengths of 6, 9, 11 and 12 metres.
