Ginegar’s biodegradable mulch film is sold under the name EcoGar.
EcoGar delivers all the benefits of traditional mulch films, combined with overall cost saving and reduced environmental impact.
EcoGar is produced of ecovio®, a bioplastic raw material created by complexing starch with polyesters. EcoGar is certified as biodegradable and compostable.
Thanks to its biodegradability there is no need to collect EcoGar mulch films after harvest, saving time and the cost of collection disposal.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: the useful life of EcoGar, as well as the time for complete biodegradation depends on specific conditions in the field, such as soil composition, humidity and weather conditions.
Product properties
EcoGar mulch film can be delivered in thickness range from 12µ to 18µ (0.5mil to 0.7mil), and a range of width and length according to customer request.
Our current range of EcoGar includes black and natural colors. Other colors may be developed.
