Pig feeders are made from 12mm thick polyethylene boards, whereas metal parts and joining elements are from stainless steel. The feeders have it, that the fodder in bulk or pelleted form automatically falls down from the tank to the trough. The batch feeders are started by the animals themselves. The intensity of feeder falling is adjusted by knobs. Some types of pig feeders are equipped with water sprinklers. They are placed in the trough and they wet the fodder directly before its intake by the animal.
