High performance tine spacing
Thanks to feedback from farmers, unlike the competition Grégoire Besson offers unique tine spacing (distance between each tine) of 230 mm.
This choice gives the machine more versatility, allowing it to work on almost all crops and reducing the number of passes. By tilling at a shallower depth with more tines, you move less soil per tine. As there is less friction, you consume less energy and your equipment lasts longer.
The Crossland is equipped with Eurochisel tines mounted on a cast steel housing. Strength and flexibility without compromise. The entire tine is firmly fixed to the chassis via a moulded back-plate that fits the spring tube shape perfectly.
All bolts (secured against turning) are the same size so you only need one spanner for tightening. The combination of these two systems limits vibration and slows down wear.
Each stanchion can be adjusted vertically to 3 positions. This allows you to vary the stanchion position by 5 cm.
This erases tracks and compensates for tractor tyre marks. This system, only available from Grégoire Besson, allows you to correct this problem and work at the depth you actually want to.
