NPN is NOT urea, rather, we use ammonium sulfate and biuret. The Super 25 blocks are an incremental tool to prevent over or under consumption. Super 25 is designed primarily for the essential fortification of beef cows for vitamins A, D & E, plus protein, calcium, phosphorus and trace elements includuing slenium while on low protein forage. Daily intake will vary depending on forage quality and nutritional needs. Expected range of consumption is from 1.0 to 1.75 lbs (.45 to .79 kg) per head per day. If cows are eating too much Super 25, switch to Magnum.
