Seed drill for no-till farming Disc-Seeder is especially suitable for no-till farming, but if coimbined with a Front-Packer in front of the tractor, it can also be used for seeding in ploughed soil. This seeder comes in 2 different models - one with sabre-seeding and one with disc coulters. DISC-SEEDER WITH SABRE-SEEDING The seeding is done simultaneously with the soil preparation and the seeds are placed on the shady side of the Sabre-discs and in 3-6 cm wide bands in firm and clean soil. The soil is packed around the seeds by the following roller. DISC-SEEDER WITH DISC COULTERS When choosing disc coulters instead of sabre-seeding, the soil is processed with discs in the desired depth regardless of the seed depth. Then the roller presses the soil once again leaving the soil ready for seeding with the double disc coulters mounted with 50 mm wide depth-packing-wheels.
