The OM 473 LA diesel engine from Mercedes Benz fulfils the Stage V emissions standard - making the Terra Variant 650 pure efficiency through power. The LV 3000 CVT transmission was developed with Kessler especially for the requirements of the Terra Variant - for stepless, power-split driving. The transmission is low-maintenance and fuel-saving, ensures perfect power transmission and increases driving comfort. The Zunhammer slurry superstructure has been further perfected: The 3-way tap is mounted at the rear of the vehicle, the DropStop connection at the three-point is directly coupled to the 3-way tap and the entire slurry technology is now held directly on the vehicle - the concept makes operation easier and reduces soiling on the vehicle.
