Pre-cleaning unit “PC-10” is designed for pre-cleaning grain and other bulk materials, ensuring effective separation of large impurities. The principle of operation and the stages of operation of the unit are as follows:
Principle of operation:
The unit uses a rotating woven wire mesh to separate materials by size. This process enables the separation of large debris and fine particles from the grain, directing them to the appropriate receivers.
Sequence of operation:
Feeding the grain onto the mesh:
Grain is fed onto the bottom of a rotating woven wire mesh.
The material spreads evenly over the surface of the mesh.
Grain movement:
The grain moves upward on the mesh under the influence of its rotation.
Fine particles pass through the mesh, separating by size.
Separation of large contaminants:
Large contaminants that cannot pass through the mesh are automatically ejected into receiving hoppers.
These contaminants are then directed to a waste tank or settling cyclone for disposal.
Movement of cleaned grain:
The grain that has been cleaned of large contaminants goes into a receiving hopper.
It can then be transferred to the ISM separator tank or other equipment for further processing.
Main advantages:
Effective removal of large contaminants: Allows improvement of material quality before further processing.
Versatility: Suitable for working with different types of grains and bulk materials.
High efficiency: Provides a large amount of cleaning in a short time.
Preparation of material for further processing: Creates optimal conditions for subsequent processing steps.
