This machine is designed for selective digging of nursery plants up to a trunk diameter of 10 cm.
It can be used in rows, in individual rows or locally on a plot.
After digging, the plant can be shaken to remove the soil and transported.
The machine consists of 3 elements:
⦁ A frame for attachment to the tractor.
⦁ An anchoring head in the ground.
⦁ A digging blade.
The frame is rigidly mounted at the rear or front of the tractor (the tractor to be used is preferably a narrow tractor, max. width 1.40 m or a tracked tractor).
The anchoring unit ensures the stability of the machine + tractor combination during grubbing up and acts as a lift.
The blade cuts the soil in a circular path to form a clod.
Once the plant to be uprooted has been selected, the tractor is placed on the left side of the plant (the wheel 30 cm from the plant); when the blade is in front of the plant, the anchoring head is lowered; the blade path is controlled, the earth is cut and lifted with the tree’s roots. Once the tree is uprooted, a rapid up and down movement of the blade allows the soil to fall from the roots.
Option :
⦁ Possibility of adapting a vibrating system.
⦁ Autonomous hydraulic unit.
