This planting machine is used to plant potatoes on plastic film. It consists of a main beam, carried at 3 points, on which 2 to 3 planting elements are clamped.
A very clever mechanism working with buckets allows the plastic to be perforated and the soil to be cored simultaneously. Once this step is completed, the soil core is released onto the plastic. The operator can then place the pre-sprouted plant in position in the hole. The filling of the planting hole is done by a brush system placed at the back and by recovering the soil core released on the plastic previously.
The height and track adjustment does not require any calculation and is done simply thanks to the 2 gauge wheels.
Stands are provided for storing stocks of pre-germinated potato seedlings.
