General Points Very sturdy, the BJ is powerful so as to cut very fibrous material with a high diameter (30 mm). Its highly-ventilated horizontal movement ensures a precise cut with thin blades, which makes the distribution of residues on the field easier while accelerating their decomposition. Very efficient on fallow land, this model will be as easy to operate for other intensive works like brush clearing, etc. Specifications Intelligent Design for a Quality Cut JOSKIN has designed removable and retractable floating blades in order to provide a high-quality performance. They retract when striking into too hard obstacles. This technical choice spares the transmission and provides the tractor with a maximal protection against shocks. The BJ choppers are fitted with 2 large rotors with 3 special chopping blades. The weight of the blades (> 2 kg) makes it easy to cut through dense vegetation. The drive shafts are fitted with 4 rubber shock absorbers to withstand shocks, bumps and other vibrations from the rotors. Thanks to this quadruple security, the transmission is very strong and can adapt to all types of fallow lands. The aim of the BJ chopper design is to maximise the “tornado” effect created by the powerful rotation of the rotors. The vegetation is thus powerfully sucked upwards and held in the movement of the knives, even in the event of damp weather. Once finely chopped, the grass is uniformly spread by means of the deflectors on the frame.
