General Points The BETIMAX R and RDS are designed with the same chassis as a base. Available with a 5-m or 6-m length and as single axle vehicle only, the BETIMAX R has a rear loading ramp and a fixed drawbar. The 210-cm high body is fully painted and the floor is an antislip chequered plate. The ramp is standard fitted with two return springs for easy lifting. Specifications Loading Ramp The BETIMAX R is fitted with a loading/unloading ramp with a very limited angle to avoid risks as much as possible, both for the livestock and the driver. Similarly, the access steps to the ramp and between the ramp and the body are limited to a height of only a few centimetres. Thanks to treated wood for a longer lifespan and slats of a limited height, livestock avoids slipping and tripping. A galvanised steel frame supports the whole vehicle and ensures a stable and rigid loading platform. The ramp is standard fitted with two return springs for easy lifting. A hydraulic ram for an effortless lifting is also available as an option. Monocoque Body The oversized stringers of the chassis (180 x 100 mm) and the 4-mm thick side walls form a tight monocoque body. Double Rear Door The rear door with two independent smooth leaves with integral opening offers a passage wider than the body, to avoid constrictions and injuries of the animals.
