The Junkkari HJ252 is the most popular size in our chipper range. It is a reliable and efficient chipper with steplessly adjustable blades that produce a consistent quality of wood chips. Powerful chipper The 45 degree feed angle of Junkkari’s HJ252 minimizes power consumption compared to other chippers in its size class. The wood is transported diagonally to the chipper, which gives the best possible efficiency from the cutting motion of the blades. Under optimal conditions, the HJ252 can chop up to 30m3 per hour. The HJ252 is equipped with two horizontal feed rollers. The advantage of two feed rollers is particularly beneficial with airy brushwood, which it can feed efficiently towards the blade. In the G model, the rollers are powered by the tractor’s hydraulics and their rotation speed is steplessly adjustable via a valve on the chipper. Hand feed or crane feed The G, GT, GTC models are all tractor-driven chippers. The difference is that the G model requires the tractor to provide not only a PTO drive and an electric socket, but also a pair of hydraulic blocks for the feeder. The GT and GTC models are equipped with their own hydraulics and do not require oil from the tractor. This is a good option when the chipper is used with more than one tractor and you do not want the oils to mix. The G and GT models are hand fed and the GTC model always requires the wood to be fed by the loader.
