New top hatch for UN and UNS silos MAFA presents a top hatch suitable for filling with conveyor or auger. Today many farmers mix their own feed and have to move between estates. We have developed a top hatch with cover suitable for filling with conveyor or auger. This top hatch is suitable for the models Unik Small and Unik Standard. The top cover is mounted on a flange with holes which also ensures good ventilation in the silo. The door is opened from ground by means of a rod system. This solution allows the farmer to take advantage of the Mafa silo with good ventilation and mass flow. By storing farm-mixed feed in a Mafasilo the farmer also gets a homogeneous feed for the animals, just as with pelleted feed.
