The scarifiers of the RP series are composed of disks fitted with anchors at a variable height of between 700 and 900 mm, of various forms and masses, and allow for working at a greater depth than normal. The scarifiers are equipped with safety devices to protect against obstacles (bolts with a pre-set breakage load), which allow the anchor to turn backwards after impact against an obstacle. The purpose of the scarifier is mainly to restore a suitable structure to the soil by splitting it, avoiding the remixing of the worked layers. This favours a porosity that tends to remain stable over time and which gives excellent hydration, and eliminating the working of the surface, favouring root development and improved absorption of nutrients.
