The advantages of EPP are based on the combination of tines with a front farmflex-roll (diameter of 200 mm). Independent of the cutting width and number of rows, each tine is working in the exact depth. A passing through of weed as well as a moving of clods onto the rows is avoided. Weed is cut completely and placed on the surface. The spring load is adjustable at different levels and therefore ensures perfect adaptation to the ground. Mounting of short and long version EEP units in tandem configuration allows cultivation without clogging. The EEP can also be equipped with vibro-springs. For larger row widths it can be combined with the MPP (e.g. mid-mounted at Fendt 220 GT for maize cultures).
