GIRAFFA XXL is the most rugged and high performance model in the side-mounted mulcher range. Its solidity and impressive size belie the ease and precision with which it gets the job done, from simple grass mowing to the more demanding shredding of brush measuring 8-10 cm in diameter. Suitable for tough jobs, equally happy working in olive groves, hazel groves and orchards as it is mowing along headlands, ditches or hedgerows, it is available in working widths ranging from 2.1 to 2.6 m, paired with tractors with horsepower in the 120 to 200 range. Nowhere it can't reach GIRAFFA XXL's parallelogram frame arm with forged joint gives it a wide range of movement, both horizontally - to offer the greatest number of possible operating combinations, such as work in conjunction with front-mounted equipment - and vertically thanks to inclines ranging from -65° e +90°. The gearbox is mounted externally to maximize offset or reach during ditch work. HEAVY-DUTY construction The adjustable triple-spring safety system on the tractor hitch, the internal conveyor and, above all, the standard-issue double-skinned body make it a truly heavy-duty piece of equipment for handling the toughest jobs and most demanding workloads. Quality mulching The combined action of the dual toothed counter blade and various tools (hammer flails and blades) is tasked with shredding, effortlessly handling brush up to 6 cm in diameter, ensuring a consistently high speed with very little vibration. GIRAFFA XXL can be fitted with a double skin protection. The hood liner is always recommended when dealing with hard debris or stones.
