The MF 1840 small rectangular baler employs a ‘centre-line’ design in which the crop flows through the machine in a straight line – working like a mini large square baler, improving efficiency because the crop is not turned before entering the chamber.
Key features are retained from its predecessor , such as narrow transport width, 1.9m wide pick-up with standard gauge wheels, short stroke and high speed.
OPTIFORM BALE CHAMBER
To ensure superb bale shape in all conditions and maintain consistent density, the OptiForm bale chamber is 460 mm or 30% longer when compared to the previous MF 1839 baler.
CENTRAL KNOTTER GREASING KIT
A new centralised greasing system is now available. Grease is fed to twelve grease points via a distribution block. There are six grease points on each knotter head. The system ensures the components are efficiently and quickly lubricated.
GAUGE WHEELS
Gauge wheels, fitted as standard to either side, further help the pick-up to follow uneven ground contours, avoiding pick-up tine damage.
