This pneumatic precision planter suitable for the sowing of major crops on tilled soil. The main tool bar is equipped with large support and transport wheels, it is also completed with hoisting and oscillating device which the planters are hitched on. The tool bar includes two draw bars, one for road transport and one to be used in working position. The reduced road transport width (3.75 m) allows it to be moved easily. The 3XL 800 precision planter is designed for planting main crops on a prepared seedbed. The main chassis is equipped with wide support and transport wheels and a moveable tool bar into which the planter units are hooked. The main chassis has two drawbars, one for road transport and one for the operating position. Thanks to its narrow road transport width of 3.75 m (3.90 metres with EASY-SET), it can be easily moved from one field to the next. The 3XL 800 is available in 16-row, 24-row and 36-row versions with a frame width of 12 m and in two different equipment configurations. The standard hopper has a capacity of 70 l. 24 planter units with a maximum spacing of 70 cm or 36 planter units with a maximum spacing of 45 cm. Frame width 17 m. Fertilizer tanks The hopper is made of stainless steel treated with cathodic dip coating and powder coating. The base of the hopper is implemented in stainless steel as standard for maximum corrosion resistance. For rapid adjustment, the amount of fertiliser to be distributed is controlled by a gearbox with gears running in semi-liquid grease. All MaterMacc hoppers have a grid inside the hopper to prevent foreign objects or clumps from entering the fertiliser metering unit.
