Cassava is an edible tuber native from South America and sub-Saharan Africa and is the third-largest source of food carbohydrates in the tropics, after rice and maize. The need to dry this product for extending the storage time combined with the need of efficient drying, easy to use and low cost has led us to develop this type of dryer which has been installed and is currently being used in Africa.
