Pigs take to feed or straw pellets, which resemble the consistency of beechnuts or acorns, even more readily than straws. In addition, pelleting offers better hygiene conditions than loose straw, even for barns with very high health status. Refilling is very simple. Either the hand shovel is used to fill in or a pipe chain supplies the roughage automat with replenishment. The Pelletomat is available in four versions, Maxi, Combi, Midi and Basic. The Pellettomat Maxi and Kombi are the higher version with maximum supply. The Pellettomat Kombi has a larger trough and with its robust design is equally suitable for fattening and sows.
