The log grip is available complete with the pallet fork or separately. The log grip is mainly intended for forestry and saw mill applications. The tool can swiftly pick logs from storage, load them onto transport vehicles, or simply handle them between work sites. The grip can also facilitate short distance transportation of logs. The optimum design of the grip and the mounts allow quick and easy mounting and removal on and from the pallet fork carriage. The handled log is pressed against the forks with a moving arm, operated by a hydraulic cylinder connected via quick-release couplings to the solenoid valve in the front loader’s hydraulic system.
