The 190FD is a Fixed Doppler ultrasonic flow meter designed for liquid flow measurement. The 190FD Doppler ultrasonic flow meter is designed for liquid flow measurement where dirty or aerated waste-water flow conditions prevail. Please note that there must be the presence of reflective material or aeration in the liquid. If you are unsure, then the best approach is to use the 190PDE that can use the transit-time pulse echo mode and Doppler.
In particular, the 190FD is an economical solution to flow measurement in larger pipe applications and can be attached to pipes up to 1200 mm diameter. Based on in-depth experience in ultrasonic flow technology, the 190FD is a high precision meter, which can be configured and operational within minutes.
Features of the 190FD Ultrasonic Flow Meter include:
• A cost effective clamp-on non-invasive ultrasonic flow meter
• Analog and digital outputs
• Data logger with local display of data (graphically or as text)
• Advanced matrix array Doppler sensor
• Built in help
• Reynolds Number flow profile correction
• Measures flow rate within a pipe without cutting the pipe
• Latest signal detection system
• Easy to attach clamp-on sensors
• Zero head loss results in improved pumping efficiency
• Clearly laid out high tactile response keypad
• Large measuring range with no complicated upper velocity on sensors
• Suitable for all commonly used sonically conductive pipe materials and liquids with 100 ppm or larger suspended particles or bubbles
Further applications of the 190FD include:
• Aerated water
• Can be used as a heat energy meter when combined with the ICT Heat Energy Calculator
