Check valves only open to allow flow in one direction, closing automatically when the flow is reversed
As push-in cartridge it can be easily integrated in valves or strainer. The check valve prevents the unwanted backflow, back pressure or back siphonage of contaminated water into the drinking water system through solenoid valves, fittings or similar systems.
The check valve is therefore an essential component to maintain the quality of drinking water by avoiding any back flow of contaminated water.
The check valves are developed according to the performance requirements of DIN EN 13959, type EB. As part off taps or appliances (other than toilet and bidet) in the domestic sector, the check valve may be used as safety device according to EN 1717.
