Integrated management of parasitic risk for cattle, sheep and goats
Properties
NUTRASEM 630 accompanies the establishment and maintenance of ruminants’ parasitic premunition and contributes to the balance between the host and the parasite at the gastrointestinal level. NUTRASEM 630 includes a nutritional base of minerals, trace elements (zinc, copper, manganese, iodine, selenium and cobalt). In synergy with the other compounds, the plants present in NUTRASEM 630 (thyme, nettle, horsetail, fern, rosemary, garlic) contribute to the management of ruminal parasitic risk.
NUTRASEM 630 is available in a formula that complies with the specifications of organic farming.
Trials
NUTRASEM 630 was evaluated on young beef cattle at the entrance in fattening unit after a phase of exposure to parasitic risks during their young age.
DIRECTION FOR USE
NUTRASEM 630 is recommended when ruminants are returning to the stables. During this period, the signs of gastrointestinal related to parasitic risk are important. Administration of this product during pasture period is possible to respond to the various phases of risk exposures.
Administration is modulated according to the level of parasitic risk within the farm. A first administration from 10 to 21 days must first be carried out. Three weeks later, a second sequence of 10 days should then be performed.
Association: the action of NUTRASEM 630 on the digestive tract can be completed by DISTRAL, as part of a management of parasitic rumen risk on adult ruminants.
