Laboratory grain divider BIS-1U is designed for mixing a grain sample and extracting average and average daily samples from it, dividing the average sample in half and separating a sample weighing 25, 50 and 100 g.
The device is used in grain receiving and grain processing enterprises, feed mills, oil extraction enterprises, variety testing breeding stations, research laboratories and inspection companies.
The divider BIS-1U is a metal cylinder with a diameter of 250 mm, in which three parts are functionally distinguished:
-The upper part has a receiving funnel with a capacity of approximately 4.5 kg of grain with an opening at the bottom of the cone, which can be opened using a ball valve and a handle (lever).
-The middle part, located under the funnel, consists of two separate mixing devices located one above the other. Each of the devices consists of a cone and a funnel connected together. The grain, scattered over the surface of the cone, moves, and having reached its base, through the holes enters the funnel connected to the cone. From it, the grain is poured onto the second separating-mixing device and mixed again. The funnel of the second device has an outlet pipe through which half of the sample is removed from the divider and sent to determine the bulk density.
-The lower part is another separating-mixing device. It also includes the cone and the funnel, but with two outlet channels. Each channel has a movable latch to change the size of the hole cut in the bottom of the funnel, which allows you to adjust the weight of the sample of grain. A digital scale is installed to adjust the weight of the samples allocated in the upper part of the body.
