Tume Harrow S – Multi-purpose straw harrow The Harrow S straw harrow is a universal cultivator with five rows of tines. It is available in a working width of 6.6 meters. The robust straw harrow model is suitable for tractors with a power of more than 120 hp. The machine itself is easy to pull, but when the total weight rises above 1500 kg, it also requires weight from the tractor. MOST IMPORTANT QUALITIES Harrow S straw harrow is made for crop residue management, light soil cultivation, as well as treatment of permanent grassland. The machine is simple, but it can be used in many different conditions. It is primarily designed for even distribution of crop residue after harvest and for starting the growth of unwanted cereal seeds. It can also be used in light soil cultivation or aeration of cereal crop. In good conditions, the machine can also be used as a tiller. Equipped with a seeding device as an accessory, the machine is excellent for e.g. supplementary sowing of lawns or sowing of various catch crops. The mounted straw harrow folds up using the hydraulic cylinder of the transport device. The machine is close to the tractor, which provides comfortable transport on roads and in the fields. In the simple structure of Harrow S there’s a five-row rod section, with individual rods measuring 16 × 700 mm. This arrangement provides for a large overlap of the individual rods. The rod section can be easily set from the tractor cabin using the hydraulics.
