Peterson’s 4810F Chain Flail Debarker tracked chain flail is engineered for optimal efficiency and productivity. With a compact footprint, it is easily maneuverable for repositioning to new job sites. No wonder it’s the machine of choice for in-field chipping.
Increase your productivity and decrease product handling times. The 4810F Chain Flail Debarker is designed to debark multiple logs and works in tandem with a whole tree chipper to produce high quality pulp chips. The 52 ½ inch (58 cm) wide feed throat is capable of processing multiple logs from 2 to 23 inches (5–58 cm) in diameter.
The 4810F Chain Flail Debarker is powered by a Tier III or Tier IV 350 HP (261 kW) CAT C9 engine, and meets all US, Canadian, and European Union emission regulations. With a dedicated 135 gallon (511 l) hydraulic oil tank, and a 175 gallon (662 l) fuel tank, it is capable of running an entire shift without fill-up.
The wide 60” (152 cm) by 19 3/4” a high capacity bark pusher with a 10 second stroke moves the bark and limbs efficiently from the debarking chamber.
What sets the 4810F Chain Flail Debarker apart from the competition? Unequaled efficient bark and branch removal, minimal fiber damage to product, efficient machine operations for minimum fuel usage, and large access doors for easy maintainability. Peterson is unsurpassed with a proven track record for reliability and durability.
