The PMC GB7133 has been specifically designed for the harvesting of green beans and soya beans. A well proven concept the machine continues to evolve, incorporating continuous design improvements for better performance and reduced maintenance.
The harvester is a four-wheel hydrostatic drive machine powered by a 181Kw liquid cooled turbo charged intercooled engine. Un-harvested crop damage is kept to a minimum by the path of the articulated frame, which enables the machine to work in small areas, and also by the crab steering on the front wheels which maximises clearance between the wheels and crop. Suitable for both processing and fresh market produce the GB7133 offers a gentle unloading system with it’s variable height discharge hopper and optional plastic interlock conveyor.
The operator enjoys the benefits of a Claas climate-controlled cabin, complete with our in-house electronic monitoring and control system.
The GB7133 can also be adapted to harvest other crops such as spinach.
How does it work?
The plant aligning brushes, or optional belt, present the bean plants head first to the rotating picking reel. The tines strip the beans and some leaves from the crop and throw them onto the main feed elevator. Passing through the machine on a series of conveyors and elevators the beans are separated from any waste by powerful cleaning fans and the clean crop is transported up to the hopper ready for discharge.
