This has given us the experience to know what buildings will stand the test of time, and which will not. Our nesting equipment is matched neatly within these structures. All you will need are simple RV-type hook-ups for electricity and water. A cement pad is optional under your egg room and for your feed bin. Typically, eggs are ‘flatted’ at the end of these hoop houses and taken to a main cooler. Most farms use a row of 3 pastures to create a 3-position rotation. Birds will remain on one pasture site for a flock cycle.
