The Hydro-pneumatic disc cultivator, model SILVER, is suitable for the cultivation of any type of soil (loose, medium-textured, hard and stony) but also for operations with green manure and for burying stubble. The Silver cultivator is particularly suitable for processing extreme soils, those in which the depth of the useful is even less than 10 cm, below which is located an impenetrable rock layer. The SILVER is a machine which is unbeatable in its ability to work a rocky soil with a high concentration of gravel. The SILVER cultivator requires a very low tensile strength and this brings fuel savings and allows you to better adapt to different tractors. There is in fact a choice between a version with a groove on the inside, a version with one on the outside and another which has both. Discs which are 66cm in diameter are connected to the tool-carrying frame by independent arms which have a hydro-pneumatic no-stop system. These allow the bodies to rapidly restore the working gear to the optimal position after encountering an obstacle. This also allows you to adhere better to the rock below, and work all the top layer without damaging the discs, which rise automatically if they find impenetrable terrain. The maximum working depth is adjustable thanks to the pressurized hydraulic circuit and can reach up to 25 cm. Di Raimondo also offers a wide range of products ranging from 7 to 15 discs and all of them have hydraulic adjustment of the working width, which varies from a little over a meter to up to 4.27 m in the SILVER with 18 discs. Less than 100 hp is required to pull the 7 cultivator discs and about 250hp is needed for the one with 15.
