PSR SLIDE by Reichhardt is an automatically steered shifting frame that is independent of the vehicle and uses GNSS and ultrasound for track guidance. Attached to the vehicle’s three-point suspension, it moves the work tools precisely to where they are needed. Ideal where hoeing is part of everyday environmental life.
WHERE IT COUNTS
Track guidance with lateral shifting
To the dismay of many farmers, the implement does not always keep track of the tractor, regardless of how precisely it is steered manually or automatically. The problem is particularly severe on slopes. The effects are dramatic where, for example, chopping is carried out in organic farming or precise embankments have to be created for a long time in special crops.
The active automatic implement steering via the shifting frame by Reichhardt provides a solution here. PSR SLIDE uses GNSS satellite navigation signals with highly accurate RTK correction data for track guidance, as well as the proven option via ultrasonic sensors. Both options can be used independently or in combination.
The sturdy frame can be easily and quickly attached to the tractor’s three-point hitch. Likewise, PTO-driven implements can be operated with the PSR SLIDE. With a displacement range of +/- 30 cm, it now easily compensates where tractor and terrain slope threaten to throw the implement off track. Operation is clearly laid out via an ISOBUS terminal.
