Cages are supplied complete and consist of the following: • One nipple and drip cup per partition • One 5 litre header tank and float valve per tier • Manure deflectors installed on the middle and bottom tiers of three and four tier cages • 0.8 – 1.2 mm galvanised feed troughs and accessories Capacity - 2 Tier – 100 commercial layers per unit water pressure: created by header tank 3 Tier – 150 commercial layers per unit water pressure: created by header tank 4 Tier – 200 commercial layers per unit water pressure: created by header tank Length - 2.45m Width - 2.00m Two tier height - 1.60m Three tier height - 1.85m Four tier height - 2.45m GANTRY FEEDING SYSTEMS FOR LAYER CAGE SA • Feed dispensing cart installed over cage unit • Fitted to guide rails on the bottom tier, allowing feed cart to travel along the cage row and dispensing feed into the feed trough • Gantry systems are available in 2 tier, 3 tier and 4 tier • Park bays on both ends of cages • Gantry can be pushed by hand or automation is optional RELIANCE DIRECT DRIVE CHAIN FEEDER SYSTEMS • Classic, proven technique for even, low-stress distribution of feed • Equal access of feed to all birds and assuring uniform development and feeding As Commercial installations get larger producers will consider options such as automatic feeding systems, automatic manure removal, as well as egg collection. Mostly these options are considered when multiple houses exist on a site and optimum efficiencies are required.
