The RESISTOGRAPH® R650 is an electronically controlled drilling resistance measuring device for the examination of trees and timber in its 6th generation since 1986. With the RESISTOGRAPH® R650, the internal condition of a tree and timber can be examined and assessed based on the measured data/ drilling resistance profile. With the drilling resistance measurement, rot, fungal decay, cracks and other invisible defects can be detected.
Application:
• Tree care and tree inspections
• Examination of the stability of wooden poles (e.g. power lines) and wooden play equipment (e.g. swings, climbing frames) to ensure suitability for use and stability
• Rot diagnosis
• Inspection of timber in half-timbered houses and pile dwellings to ensure their stability and suitability for use
• Inspection of wooden bridges to check their safety and functionality
• Monument inspection of timber structures
• Inspection of natural monuments
• Timber construction
• Quality control of timber
