Flexible Slotted Couplings The flexible couplings are designed for use in systems with pressures between 0 and 20 atmospheres. This type of coupling provides flexibility and can adapt to misalignment, distortion, thermal stress, vibration, noise and seismic tremors. It can even accommodate an arched pipe bend. This type of coupling allows a certain axial and rotational displacement and a minimum of one degree of angular movement.
