They are composed of multiple stages (from 2 to 10 stages). The cylinders are designed to operate at a working pressure of 180 bar. Maintenance of the tipper cylinder is simple – just with seals. Application Telescopic tipper cylinders are used in various economic sectors, such as agriculture, construction, and engineering. They are intended for single, double, or three-sided tipping of tractor trailers, tippers, and other cargo superstructures. Production The company di Natale-BERTELLI has been manufacturing cylinders since 1970. It is the only Italian factory and one of the few in the world that uses the 'tenifer' process to protect the rods of telescopic cylinders. Long-term experience and research have enabled the improvement of quality and expansion of production. Cylinder Protection The rods of the cylinders are protected with tenifer, a compound that is chemically resistant, thus increasing resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Intermetallic compounds produce an excellent anti-friction layer that allows the sliding of steel stages against steel. The thickness of the compound layer is 0.25: 0.3 mm, with a minimum hardness of 570 HV, compared to 180 HV of standard steel, it is particularly resistant to dirt, dust, stones… Wear resistance. Tipper cylinders are not painted or otherwise protected.
