The Hurricane H40-S is a sturdy and easy to use flail mower designed to be offset. It is especially designed to offer the best performance wherever professional, highly accurate, safe mowing is required. The offset can be done either manually, or hydraulically through the use of a hydraulic cylinder. The maximum offset for all sizes is 40 cm to the right. The H40-S model also features an oversize real roller that was designed to be assembled in two positions, either away from the rotor or closer to it, allowing in this case the rotating blades to keep the roller clean. The rotor is electronically balanced and is equipped with sealed rotor bearings. The machine comes with a double pivot blade attachment to eliminate blade breakage, excessive wear and rotor damage. The blades turn in a clockwise direction, going against the direction of travel. This cutting motion from bottom to top allows for a much cleaner finish. The cutting height is controlled by the rear roller equipped with a roller scarper.
