It has specially been designed to cut crops and pruning (up to 75mm) and place the mulched residue on the orchard or vineyard ‘bankies’ (Includes raised ridged rows by fitting different blades) By doing so it aids the stressed out soil under trees and prevents the growth of weeds. One of the key features of the mulchers is that it can be classified as combination machine that can work all year round. Over and above the ability to cut and place long wet cover crops and pruning under tress, it can be used as a conventional mower too. To ensure trouble free working with no or little down time, the tough reliable Mulchers are manufactured from 5mm deck steel and the skids from tough hard wearing Benox steel. The range is ideally suited for tractors ranging in size from 44 – 60kw and to ensure correct placement of the cut residue, the side discharge chute has a cowling that is hydraulically operated from the tractors seat to control the placement. As standard equipment the Mulchers are fitted with rear protection chains, 8 special blades and an adjustable cutting height ranging from 20 – 150mm. The smaller models (1.1 – 1.5m) are fitted with 58kw gearboxes and the largest model (1.8m) with a 95kw gearbox. (
