A milking parlour to meet every requirement
When you choose a milking parlour for sheep and goats, the size of the herd, yields and total milking workload are important factors. SAC offers a full product range. We offer everything from contemporary line milking and automatic cluster release to a simple shed with head rails and manual milking.
Automation in the shed
When the milking parlour has 16 milking stalls or more, automatic cluster release is highly beneficial. A shorter milking time per animal considerably reduces working time because the milker only has to prepare the udder and attach the cluster. This SAC milking parlour combines automatic feeding with cascade release of the head rails, and is ideal for use in larger herds.
Ergonomic working postures
To address the sizes of different breeds of dairy cattle, SAC produces an adjustable head rail. When the animals are lined up in their places and restrained by the head rail, the front gate and all the animals are pulled to the edge of the milking pit. When all the animals are in place, the milker has good access between the hind legs and can work in an ergonomically correct posture. The head rail is modular and fitted with a manger, either for manual or automatic fodder allocation.
