The disc harvester is designed to dig cleanly into hard or heavy soil conditions. Due to its gentle crop handling, the harvester can harvest onions without creating significant soil disturbance. Employing a hydraulically driven disc for each crop row, it only disturbs the soil where the onions are planted. The lifted onions are delivered by a butterfly roller onto the webs, which employ mechanically adjustable rotary agitators. A compaction roller on the underside of the machine levels the worked soil for a perfect finish. The machine can be equipped with one or two sieving webs with two different folders that are specifically made for them.
