Transparent Base is a funnel type trap made of plastic polymer that is resistant to UV rays. The trap consists of a green funnel with a green lid and transparent base that attaches by means of a Bayonet mount (lock). It has an average lifespan of 6 to 7 years. The ECONEX GREEN POLILLERO trap is especially designed to optimize the trap's camouflage in areas where required. It is the recommended trap for counting most lepidopterans, especially large moths. RECOMMENDED USE: The inside of the funnel should be filled with liquid to kill the captured insects, preventing their escape. Oily liquids or propylene glycol (antifreeze) are recommended to reduce evaporation. The trap comes with two perforated holes and a hanger, to be able to hang it.
