Insect shelter composed of a cabin support made of weather-resistant phenolic board, 15 mm thick. Composed of 6 spaces, 5 of them closed at the back, which contain different materials that provide shelter habitats for the hibernation and breeding of numerous species of insects and arachnids. Shelter materials include open pine cones, cut reeds, dry grass, a fragment of terracotta brick, sections of fruit twigs, and sections of branches with holes. The materials contained in the open spaces are secured by chicken wire, except in the upper space, which only has mesh on the back, to which the logs are attached. The central space, closed and practicable, generates a dark habitat filled with dry plant material, accessible to insects through a series of perforations of different sizes.
The entire structure is reinforced with screws.
