IDEAL Farm/Profi-line SP Schouten Ideal-slurrytankers with the Soil-Protection undercarriage combine the advantages of a single axle tanker with the low ground pressure of a multiple-wheel undercarriage. The Soil-Protection three-wheel undercarriage has a middle wheel that is hung up in a sub-frame. In the field it can be placed on the ground. This way the ground pressure per cm² is reduced significantly. During road transport the wheel can be lifted up. This reduces the rolling resistance so that fuel is saved.
