The GDOB-S (Super) hails from the original GDOB model and has been modified to make it perfect to handle our harsh Australian conditions. Work between Baldan and Serafin Machinery started in 2016 on developing the “Super” series and in 2018 the first unit arrived in Australia. Since then they have become extremely popular world wide including South Africa who are a massive importer. This success is due to the fact it is much stronger, heavier and robust than the previous design. Baldan’s GDOB-S range of tandem discs are available in 78 plate & 90 plate configuration with working width of 10.5m & 12m respectively. They have a double skin frame for extra weight and strength, as well as a unique floating centre section to handle undulating ground. The new Super model includes the addition of hydraulic accumulators and relief valves fitted for the hitch that reduce frame stress in undulating ground conditions. It has also received larger hydraulic fold cylinders to compensate for the extra weight. BALDAN GDOB-S – Designed for the large farmer who wants to get the job done fast and properly the first time! Accumulators On Hitch By fitting dual hydraulic accumulators to the hydraulic system on the hitch, this helps take out some of the stress in undulating ground conditions. Upgraded Drawbar The drawbar has been strengthen with larger steel sections and gusseting. The drawbar tongue has also been upgraded with the new spring and chain assembly for easy hookup.
