The multihead sawmill from SERRA is used as a resaw for boards and slats. The benefit against a circular resaw is, that the cutting kerf is much thinner. Energy efficient – Productive – Industrial use Because of that less precious wood will be transformed into sawdust, furthermore the power requirement is lower. In contrast to the main sawmill the sawhead is not moving back and forth along the log. Instead of that, the sawhead is static and the logs will be pushed through.
