The silos by SIMA are the result of extensive experience in the agro-industry plant engineering sector. The cylinder is made with corrugated sheet metal panels with external reinforced uprights, FE S350GD Z450 g/m2 galvanised structural steel complete with inspection door; the bolting with Geomet protection both ensure a durable material even in areas with high pollution rates. The sealing is made of thermoplastic material and the bolting is provided with PVC washers. The roof consists of trapezoidal Aluzinc steel segments, bolted on the stiffening ribs, with a 31° slope. The capacity and resistance are ensured over time and it comes with an inspection door and a blue fibreglass cap. The structures are calculated according to DIN 1055 Standards and for seismic areas they are made with a special sizing based on legal regulations.
