JB6000 gives the sow the freedom to move around in the common area - and whenever she wants, she has the option of free access to the crates.
The strong and reliable locking system - Twin Lock - is essential for the function of JB6000. Once the sow enters the crate, the rear gate is activated which means that the rear gate will lock behínd her. The Twin Lock system prevents other sows access to an already occupied crate.
Crate with more opportunities
The JB5000 has valuable features that consider the need of only one housing unit as the crate can be used for both service and gestation. This is a time-saving factor as the relocation of the sows is minimized.
Unique design
The crate is designed with a lower height at the backend of the crate. This makes it easy for staff to get from one crate to another, minimizing working hours consumption. It is possible to lock either a single crate or a group of crates at a time - with just one hand.
Flexible with easy access
Sows can be temporarily locked into the crates for breeding and pregnancy testing. It is possible to lock either a group of crates or a single crate – only by one hand.
Twin Lock system
The crate is designed with a sustainable Twin Lock system in free access mode – when the sow enters the crate, the rear gate closes automatically behind her. The Twin Lock system prevents external sows access to an occupied crate. With her own weight, the sow will activate the rear gate of the crate to walk out. The JB6000 allows sows to stay in good condition by freely walking in and out of the crates.
