Farrowing stall JLF10

More room for the sow and the piglets JLF10 has been developed in collaboration with leading researchers and innovative pig producers to create the most effective farrowing pen for loose nursing sows. The design of the JLF10 is providing the sow with more freedom of movement and will also allow her a more natural behavior. Observations have shown that the sow will take more feed which has a positive effect on the milk yield and – off course - an increased weight of the piglets. Long-lasting and easy to clean The fiber material has a smooth surface, which reduces the accumulation of bacteria, thus making the possibility for an easy and effective cleaning. A cleaner housing environment causes lower morbidity, and thus providing a larger and improved production. Furthermore, the fiber material has a light color, helping to ensure optimal working conditions. Spacious creep area The creep area is located at the passageway, allowing easier access for the staff and thus the possibility of working time savings. A width of 110 cm provides additional space for the piglets, thus the basis for a healthy well-being is achieved. The top cover is made of durable plastic to offer easy cleaning and improved hygiene. Adjustment to floor slope The fibre panels are adjusted accurately to the floor slope. This means that the fibre panels are correctly and tightly fastened to the floor. It is not necessary to break the existing concrete floor, thus reducing the cost of investment.
